Biofeedback is essentially a process where a person uses awareness of physiological functions to learn to , for example, regulate stress, heart rate,  anxiety and blood pressure. This feedback process allows you to focus on making small changes in the body, such as relaxing the breath or relaxing certain muscles to improve things such as pain or stress. Biofeedback gives you the power to use your thoughts to control your body, often to improve a health condition or physical performance. Using computer graphics and prompts, the device helpsbiofeedback you master stress by pacing your breathing, relaxing your muscles and thinking positive thoughts. Studies show that these types of devices might be effective in improving responses during moments of stress, and inducing feelings of calm and well-being.

The process is entirely natural and non invasive. I use the SCIO/EPFX machine to connect a person via electrical sensors to the wrists and ankles. Clients are relaxed and can sit down or lie down during the entire process. After inputting basic information, the SCIO/EPFX sends a tiny signal to search for some 8000 different elements, organs, systems and nutritional analysis to the body to gauge whether or not there is a balance in each of these elements. When an imbalance is detected, the biofeedback device can send an electrical signal to the imbalanced organs in order to allow it to achieve homeostasis. The entire process is a pleasant learning experience and lasts about 1-1/2 hours.

After the body finds its natural balance, it can be easily maintained through proper nutrition, a healthy lifestyle and using the processes learned during the biofeedback sessions.
